Fitness

2 hour hike
45 min Stretch Class
45 min Treading
45 min Total Body H20
45 min Total Toning

Today I really enjoyed the hike, however I am quite beat up. The classes were tough and I only got through it because the trainer kept yelling we can do more than we think we can.

We had three seminars today:
1.  Values and Goals-- you need to understand what's most important
and set goals for yourself everyday.
2.  Planning Strategies-- set a cardio goal and weight training goal ( A woman came here a year ago bc she was going through a difficult time in her life so she decided to sell her house so that she could stay for 6 months! One day she was walking and the owner here asked her to jog. She said I can't do that! Michelle said, "Just pick up your feet and jog at a slow pace." They talked and jogged for about 10 minutes.  Michelle pointed out to her that she had already ran a mile.  She ended up losing 100 pounds at her final weigh in.  Currently she is in China running a marathon. This woman travels all around the world running marathons).
3.  Veggify Your Meals-- she taught us how to make a mason jar salad to take to work ( first you put your salad dressing, then you add your veggies and lastly your romain/lettuce)blending vegetables and freezing in an ice cube tray so that you can add it to a sauce, and making green juice. She says when the body is hungry, it needs nutrition-- fruits and vegetables. When we eat, our plate should be 1/2 fruits and veggies 1/4 be protein, and 1/4 carbohydrates.
