Breakfast: Protein Shake
10:15am--Intuitive Eating--Don't use the word diet bc then your FOCUS is on everything you can't eat! Studies show that this word causes harm: weight gain, binge eating, and or an eating disorder. FOCUS on what you can eat!
The nutritionist suggested that we all read Thin for Life by Anne M. Fletcher. She said it's an excellent book that is based off of people who have lost weight and kept it off.
11:15am--Circuit Training
12:00pm--break (I lounged on a raft in the pool with Julie and Shelly)
1:00pm-- Lunch
1:45pm--Thinking Patterns- We all have thinking patterns that are maladaptive: catastrophic thinking, all or nothing thinking, over generalization thinking, and filtering. Change it into something positive. Turn the negative into a positive.
2:45pm--Kickboxing
3:45pm--Mt. Kilimanjaro
4:45pm--Strength Circuit
5:45pm--Dinner
6:30pm-- Guest Speaker--A former guest spoke about how she lost 100 pounds while she was at Movara for 8 months. She was so inspired by her stay she decided to do hike Mt. Kilimanjaro, run a marathon in all 7 continents and walk Camino de Santiago. Her story was emotional and amazing! She is such a strong woman. I am so inspired by her, and feel very lucky to have met her!
