Stop Sign Hike-- I made it to the stop sign (4.6 miles up hill! Today I thought I was on a different path bc the hill seemed steeper! It was so difficult for me today compared to yesterday. Then I turned around and started back to the beginning. So I approximately completed 7 miles. This is my view where I ended the hike, and the van picked me up:
Open Gym--45 min
45 min Boot Camp Class with biggest loser contestant, Sione from Season 7:
Every two minutes we did what was on the board. We did it 15 times. It was a great workout and a lot of fun!
45 min Cardio Intervals: eight 30 second intervals. Each time, you add resistance and power. On the eighth incline you hold it for 1 minute. Then you come back down eight. Then you do a one minute interval with your resistance and power as high as you can. Then you lower it and get a one minute recovery. Then you have to do a one minute interval of just speed. Then you get a minute to recover. You start the process all over again. The instructor does this 3 times. I got to 11.5 miles!!!
45 min Pool Class with crazy Sharon:
She kicked our butts and even went over. We thought we were done after 45 minutes and she said give me another 40 push-ups! We all thought she was kidding...she wasn't. It felt good when it was over, but crazy when we had to do one more thing! Many people believe pool workouts are easy. They are NOT easy at Fitness Ridge!
Food:
The soup was fantastic!
I also really enjoyed the turkey steak and broccoli.
Overall, I felt stronger today. Yesterday I was so beat up and did not know how I was going to get through the day today. I did it! :-)
Lesson for today: even when you think you can't, you can! So get up and get moving!!!
