Day 10 July 4, 2018

6:15am-6:30am-AM Snack:
I ate 1/2 banana and peanut butter.

6:45am-8:45am:  Stop Sign Hike—I pushed myself a little harder today and I suffered in pain with my achilles and knee. This is why I can’t run anymore. It literally beats my body up!  Fun fact about Snow Canyon, which is where the stop sign hike is. Katy Perry’s music video, Rise, was filmed there. Watch it! You will see how beautiful it is here. 

9:30am-10:30am:  Breakfast--Yummy protein shake.

11:30am-12:15pm:  Pool Class—it was a great class bc Sharon taught it. We did races, running, burpees, push backs, push ups, Superman kicking, core, and arm exercises!

12:45pm-1:15pm: Lunch

1:30pm-2:30pm:  Personal Development

2:30pm-3:15pm: TRX—I like TRX bc your form and range with squats and lunges are much better!  Clara taught this class.

Shelly made us all buy 4th of July themed workout shirts. 

3:30pm-4:15pm:  Kickboxing-great class! Very tough bc Sharon taught it!

4:30pm-5:15pm:  HIIT—this was a tough class. She did it tabata style: 45 seconds on 15 seconds off. We did all different types of squats, lunges, arm exercises, ab exercises, and kettle bells. 

5:30pm:  Dinner—it was so delicious!


8:00pm-9:30pm: Massage with Tyler. 



Today I learned that life goes by so fastly. Enjoy each moment bc you never know what life will bring you. Live life to the fullest and do what makes your heart smile because you are not guaranteed tomorrow.

Day 9 July 3, 2018


6:15am-6:30am: AM Snack—I chose celery and peanut butter.

6:45am-8:45am: Morning Hike—I was so proud of myself today because I put deep blue rub on my achilles and it helped ease the pain so much!  I decided to push myself a little more today than yesterday.  I even jogged some of it so that made me very happy!




9:30am-10:30am: Breakfast—yummy protein shake.

11:30am-12:15pm: Mt. Fuji- Get on a cardio machine for 45 min. Every 3 min you increase your incline. I chose the bike. I burnt 423 calories.

12:45pm-1:15pm: Lunch






2:30pm-3:15pm: Bootcamp--The first 20 minutes were squats and boxing exercises.  The second half of class we had to do 40 mountain climbers, 20 squats, 15 shoulder presses, 5 burpees, 15 frontal rows, and 20 sit-ups 3xs.  The last part of class was stomach drills! This class was good and the instructor, Amy, was full of energy!

3:30pm-4:15pm: Cardio Intervals--You get on a cardio machine and you start at a base level.  You go up 8 times every 30 seconds.  When you get to the 8th level, you stay there for 2 minutes.  Then you come back down 8 times every 30 seconds.  Then you do a speed drill for 2 min, then another one for 1 min.  Then you repeat the above one more time, but increase your base level.  If time remains, continue until you hit 45 minutes.  I burned 407 calories.

4:30pm-5:15pm: Pool Class--She used pool weights, had us do push-ups, and drills.  It was a good class.

5:30pm: Dinner

During lunch and dinner you have an option to make yourself a salad! The ginger dressing they make is so good:


Today was another great day.  I feel so tired and I am hoping I sleep all night so that I kick ass tomorrow!
