Day 4 June 28, 2018

The view as I was walking to the dining hall for my morning snack.

6:15am-6:30am: Morning Snack— I had an apple and peanut butter.

6:45am-8:45am: Hike—I did stop sign with Lindsay. We beat our time from yesterday!

9:30am-10:30am: Breakfast—of course i had the protein shake...It was so yummy!  And then Sharon, Rhonda, Shelly, and I talked and laughed so hard. It was so healthy!!!

10:30am-11:15am: Meal Prep Demo— Bentley talked about making overnight oats and salads in mason jars so that you can just grab and go. He also talked about using grape seed oil and avocado oil for cooking bc they have high cooking temps where olive oil and coconut oil for topical things like salad bc they don’t.

11:30am-12:15pm: Circuit

12:45pm-1:15pm: Lunch

1:30pm- 2:15pm: Exercise Tips— Michelle, the owner of Movara, was the speaker:

Motivation for exercising comes from 3 things:

Fear
Love
Duty

When you do it out of fear and duty, it is easier to get dragged back into not doing it. So remember your WHY!

Exercising will not make you lose weight. You must do the math and be realistic:

3500 calories is one pound.  To lose 10 pounds, you must have minus 35,000 calories.

2:30-3:15: Treading Class:  Pick a cardio machine.  I chose the bike.  It was a 5 minute warm up, 5 min really hard, 5 min normal, 4 min really hard, 4 min normal, 3 min really hard, 3 min normal, 2 min really hard, 2 min normal, 1 min really hard, 1 min normal.

3:30pm-4:15pm:  Court Challenge --There were 7 different stations:  Ropes, medicine balls, steppers, cones, spin bikes, sandbags and steps, and burpees.  We did each station for 90 seconds.  Then got a 2 min break, and did it again.

4:30pm-5:15pm:  Pool Class

5:30pm: Dinner:  Dinner was great!  They use Udi's crust to make the pizza.

Tonight: Laundry and hopefully sleep!

I cannot believe day 4 is done.  I am really having an awesome time, and have met some really great people.  Most of all, my friends from last year are here!  When you workout with people you care about, you motivate, and encourage each other when it gets tough!
